How do I return my order?

We want you to love absolutely everything you buy from Boden — but if you need to make a return, it’s really simple.

 

Returning Online Orders


If you purchased online (either from home or placed an order in-store for delivery to your address), you can start your return via our returns portal.
You’ll be able to:

  • Choose from one of our approved carriers to send your return back.

 

Once we receive your return at our warehouse, your refund will be processed (see How long does it take to process my return? below for details).

1. Visit our online returns portal where you can register your return and create your returns label.

  • Enter your order number and shipping ZIP code or email address to identify your order.

2. Select items to return

  • Tick the item(s) you wish to return from your order list and select a return reason.


3. Choose your return method

Select your preferred method from the carrier list:

 

  • Choosing Happy Returns: 

Happy Returns offers box-free, printer-free, and sustainable returns.

If you have the clear cellophane bag that most items arrive in, please keep the item(s) in their respective bags.

Bring items to a Return Bar near you and use the QR code emailed to you to complete your return drop-off.

 

  • Choosing USPS: 

 

Print a label – A label will be emailed to you to print out, tape it to return parcel being sure to cover up or remove any old address labels or bar codes.  Take the parcel to your mailbox for pick up or drop off at a Post Office.

 

 

Returning In-Store Purchases

  • You can return it directly to the Atlanta store for a full refund, in line with our standard returns policy. 
  • Purchases made on-line can’t be accepted at the Atlanta Store, instead, please use our returns portal

 

 

What's your returns policy?

We’re happy to offer returns within 45 days of receipt, provided items are unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached.

  • Online orders (including those placed in-store for delivery) should be initiated via our returns portal.
  • In-store purchases can be returned directly to our Atlanta, GA store.
  • In-store online orders paid for with cash must be returned directly to the Atlanta, GA store, where our team will process the refund.

If you return an item from an order that has an outstanding pre-order, the cost of the outstanding item(s) may be deducted from your refund. The remaining balance will be refunded to your original form of payment.

Exclusions - the following are non-refundable:

  • Final Sale items (the discounts on our Final Sale items are so good that we are unable to accept returns)
  • Swimwear, if the hygiene strips have been removed.
  • Earrings, if the internal packaging seal has been broken.

What's your 365-day Quality Guarantee?

After our standard 45-day return period, you can return anything that does not meet our quality standards up until one year from shipping, for a Boden account credit. With faulty items you’ll have the options below:

· Within 6 months – we’ll refund your item and you're welcome to place a new order (subject to availability).

· From 6-12 months – we’ll credit your Boden account for the amount paid. Account credit can be used on any future order, including sale items.

If you originally purchased with a discount or offer, we will adjust the refund accordingly.

Do you offer exchanges?

We don’t offer exchanges, but there’s no need to worry. Simply return your item(s) for a refund and place a new order online, where you can see up-to-date stock and delivery information. To find more details about returning items, take a look at ‘How do I return my order?’ and our returns policy.

How long does it take to process my returns?

We aim to process all refunds within 21 days of you posting your return.

If you don’t hear from us within 21 days of sending your items back, please contact us with your order number and the details about which items you sent back.

Can I return more than one order in a parcel?

Please return one order at a time. Use our online returns portal to create free, easy and convenient returns.

Where should I send my return?

  • For online orders and in-store online orders (not paid for with cash):
    Please use our returns portal to select your preferred return method
    You’ll receive full return instructions and a prepaid label once your return is registered.

  • For in-store purchases, in-store online orders paid for with cash:
    Please bring your item(s) to:

How do I track my return?

If you’ve returned your parcel via our Returns Hub, you can track your return by clicking on the link in your email. Don’t forget to check your junk folder if you’ve not received any and add us to your safe sender list. Alternatively, enter your order number and ZIP code or email address here.

It may take a day or two from mailing your parcel for the first update to show. No need to worry though, as we’ll pop you an email when your return has been processed.

Returns can take up to 21 days to be completed, and we’ll send an email as soon as we've processed your item(s)

How do I return a gift that I received?

If you have received a gift from Boden that’s not your cup of tea, please contact us with your order number to hand (this can be found on the address label), and we will be happy to look into this further. Just so you know, we will need to keep the ‘gift giver’ informed.

Will I lose my offer if I return an item?

Offers are applied to each item, so any discount received will still apply to the items you keep. Any items returned will be refunded at what you paid for the item (after discount), as per our returns policy. Take a look at your offer terms & conditions for more information.
